Smile screaming eagle 2into 2 nightsticks

I just bought 2012 Electra Glide Limited and put nightsticks on and want a little more sound out of them, is this possible?

I'm looking at these as well and called my local dealer. They told me that they remove the end cap. However I would order the end cap with the hole in the end from Supertrapp, the company who makes them for HD. It would look more finished. Oh, you will also need the torx bit with the little hollow part in the center to remove the baffle bolts.

yup- if OP has high flow air cleaner and has a tuner/flash/Xied to richen the mixture.

the nightsticks are compatible with the supertrapp 4" disc kits, end caps etc.

more discs in the stack equals more flow, the design of the discs forces the gasses to go thru a "W" which dampens mostly the high frequencies

the "open" end cap is considered to be equivalent to 10 discs, 10 discs and open endcap then would be equal to 20 discs.

for tuning I'd suggest with a 103 you try 15 to 18 discs right and 10 to 12 left.

my 96" I think I am at 15/rt, 10/lt right now, I use closed endcaps- this sounds fine to me- with the different length stacks, I actually have "dummy" discs on the left side, you can see the closed cap 1/2 way in the stack, everything behind that is for balance.

the more discs added= more sound and more horsepower, sacrificing torque.

when going on a long hiway trip I often add 2 or 3 discs each side to emphasis horsepower, when in town they come out for more torque at lights and traffic etc.

Seems every time I try o find post on the night stick there are post mixed in confusing the Night stick and the Fat Shotz both are Exhaust offered by HD but they are different.
I had the Fatshotz on my RG the fatshotzs that are 2 to 1 have an end cap that can be removed. The Ftashotz 2 to 2 DO NOT have the end caps (PLUG) . You can tune them to your needs by adding or removing disk they look like this.

What I would like to know is If anyone has the Night Stick 2 to 2 offer by HD I don't care about Super Trap I know there are about the same.
Not building a racing bike I just want to change up my new a bit and add a bit more sound to it. This is the Night stick.

The main difference between the SE Fatshoz and nightsticks are the number of discs and the end-cap. They both have 2" straight through baffles. The Fatshotz has open end-cap and nightstick has closed end-cap. The discs and end-caps are interchangeable so any amount of tuning for performance and/or sound can be achieved by changing end-caps and/or adding/subtracting discs. 4" Discs and end-caps are available from Supertrapp.

OldHippie is correct. However there is a little more in differences between the two.
NightStick has a solid walled core without fiberglass packing.
FatShotz has a perforated walled core WITH fiberglass packing.

Yes, that is why the the nightsticks need the closed end cap to get the EPA stamp.

Has anybody found the way to make the nightsticks louder ? I have added the disks and the end cap but I'm not totally happy, I want the exhaust loud enough so the car next to me knows I'm there and doesn't make a lane change on top of me.

if you have a catalytic converter in the header, remove it.
