I understand you can bargin with them now. If so how much should I expect to get off Harley's suggested Price?

This is cash price, no trade.
Not around here. MSRP or hit the road. Good luck...

Go to a few dealerships and get a price for the same bike at all 3. You might find a difference in price and in turn get a reduction to price match. Might be all you can do, but its $100 more than you had the day before.

Of course I've spent over 100,00.00 on 3 bikes and parts over 9 years, so that may have had an effect.

Just quoted over 15% off on a 2013 Road King. $15,000 if bought by EOD Monday. (this would be my second new bike bought from this dealership)

Do some homework. It will be worth it.

I got one dealer to give me a price quote on paper. I then used this at 3 other dealers to get them to beat the price.
They will compete for your business.

I was able to buy a 2012 FLHX for a little less than MSRP but had the dealer throw in $2035 worth of store credit, 2 free shirts and the first service. I was also able to finance for 2.59 for 66 months through a credit union not HD.

We also got a similar deal by the same method on a Can Am Spyder for my wife.
Remember that a stock bike is the same at whatever dealer you buy from. Use this to your advantage, not theirs.

Good luck!

You want to deal just wait until about December toward the end of the month when there is snow on the ground. Ain't gonna happen now, just try to get as many "goodies" as you can.

Best consumer's price is at the end of month, end of quarter, end of year.

And for those of us with seasons, mid-winter.

I agree. The dealers have made in a pain to buy a new bike from them. I now buy late model used bikes and save a lot of money. Harley even has a program, at a cost, that lets you buy a used bike from an individual through them. They put it in there inventory, add a fee, and sell you the bike. The advantage here is if the owner has a lien. You know it will get paid off. Also it allows you to buy an extended warranty. The price varies greatly so check with several dealers. I got my dealer to do it for $300 plus the cost of the extended warranty. Some charge upwards of a grand to do it. They take care of all the paper work and get you plates for you. For $300 it was worth it to me.
