My Elf E2125 amp went south a few weks ago. Contacted Elf and the amp was discountinued and they were waiting for the new model. They offered to either give me a refund or ship a new one as soon as they came in. I opted to wait for the new amps. Just as promised I recieved the first amp. It is the new model E2125XN. It is shorter in length than the old model, but 2/10 of an inch higher, width is the same. (7.00x5.25x2.0).
The new model does not have inputs for the speaker output from the radio, as the old one did. You must use a converter to RCA inputs. I bought one from BestBuy for $17. I informed Saad Abouabdo at Elf about this and he offered to remiburse me for it, he also said he would order some to supply one with each amp sold.
I tested it for 230 miles Sat at speeds up to 100 mph ( with J&M 7.25 Rokker speakers) and it sounded great at all speeds.
Sorry I forgot to take pictures before I installed it (I was in a hurry to hear it!).
If you need info here's his email address saad@aeiav.com. He's a great guy to deal with and stands behind his products.
