New HK radio problem
I'm having a problem with my HK radio on my 06 Ultra. Most of the time, when I start the bike the radio has no audio. The display looks normal, that is, it's on the last station that it was on when I turned off the bike. However, none of the controls work, can't turn it off, can't change anything on the display and no sound. Turn the key off and on a few times and it starts working normal. Another kicker, if I hold the antenna in my hand when I turn on the bike, the radio will almost always come on and work right. This is the 3rd radio. The other 2 lost display after they got wet. I've had the fairing off and checked all the wiring. No joy there. All advise appreciated.

No cd in the player. Display is normal, but you can't power it down and none of the front controls work. Danmed HK product.

Mine seems to do the same thing except I have sound. Its like the buttons don't work and the highlighted box over the station is missing. Eventually it works or if I get impatient, I change from FM to the CD and back.
