I tried it a couple years ago before a long ride. Ended up getting ragged on by some friends for it. Until later that evening when my fairing was clean, and theirs were covered in bugs...

My local Auto Zone store just started carrying the Black Box detailer in a big bottle separate from the kit. Its the only thing I use on my bike now... love it!

Honestly I have been using Turtle Wax black box,and the detailer. I wanted to try Pledge to see what all this talk is about. I can honestly say my bike looks better with Pledge. It doesn't collect dust as bad,and the shine makes my bike look wet. I still like the black box detailer, but the Pledge to me looks better, easier, and less dust build up on my vivid black.

You can go a little further back than that. I was using it on a bike while stationed on Okinawa, in 1978.

So you use it on your paint, chrome, windshield? Any areas you want to avoid?

Use it regularly.

Even the generic Wal Mart "lemon pledge" works the same and is a tad bit cheaper.

Makes my bike GLOW.
