I used lemon pledge for years on all my bikes , try using pledge on your boots I swear that they made mine water proof

Can't say anything bad about Pledge. Works awesome! Even on my black SG. I put that schtuff on my cereal in the morning !!

Anyone use it over pinstripping? Will it take the pinstripe off?

Been using Pledge on my bikes for the last 15 years and it's the cat's @ss, even for Vivid Black.

Do you have to clean the bike before you apply? I use "Honda Polish" cleaner and polish that I liked from my sport bike days, as it cleans bugs and dirt off and makes a nice smooth shine. I am intrigued about the Pledge tho, just dont wanna have to go over the bike twice. Once to clean, and then to polish.
