Plain drifter...you know I gotta comment on your bike. Hard to keep white walls/rims clean, but I love them. If you stay on top of them, its not too bad. What kind of seat did you get along with rider back rider rest?
Smokey, that has to put out some good noise. How's the HP?
Welcome, I live in Michigan myself, just North of Lansing.
Best of luck to you and I hope every thing turns out good so you can get back on your Harley.
Welcome to the Forum - Gotta love them King's - timeless style IMO
I thought my riding career was over last year with a severe shoulder issue - I'm 64 I did my
rehab stuff - and I am fine now - just wanted to give you a word of encouragement.....
With the technology and knowhow that is in the medical profession today - they will find out what's wrong and fix it - keep your spirits up and have faith.

Welcome! Get well and never give up on rehab. I was down for a year with 8 broken bones, collapsed lung, and lots of road rash. The only thing I really had to give up was golf. I can still do everything else including weight lifting as long as I don't go too heavy. Rehab was painful.
Wooly, the ride I just did a month ago included a friend of mine that was in a nursinig home and his nickname is now kickstand because his leg is bent that bad.
All-Thanks for your repsonses and support. They let me come home yesterday and the first thing I did was fire the bike up! I'm gonna fire it up before my in house therapy peson comes for some motivation. Thanks again all!
