Rear Tire Question.

Metzler 880's or the Avon Cobra. Both are very good tires. RC Components tech told me that you can go up to a 200 mm on the rear, but you will have to go to a wider wheel. I checked all the clearance issues on my 09 and decided to stay with the 180 mm because of my external reserviors (Ohlins #6's).

200mm wont go on your 08,maybe an 09,dunlop e3 handles better wears better and rides better.u can get a 160 es but it is rated for a 3 1/2inch wheel your stock wheel is 3 inch,some here have used the 160 but it is only slightly wider than the mu most just run the mu it fits fine.metzler is also a good choice handles and rides well some get less milage out of them,avon very sticky but dont give alot of miles.
