Default TMAP question

My 09 103 Ultra drips a fair amount of oil from the AC filter (zippers) and I have tried a few things to help, Doherty Mist Free kit, drilled and tapped the backplate to run hose to the ground, and plugged the vent holes that are the last exit for the oil to go back to the intake as well. Nothing seemed to work, the faster she goes, the more she spews.

I saw here not long ago some folks use some type of towel or maxi pad in the AC cover to catch the drips, which I will be trying instead of a catch can since the hose idea doesnt' seem to work but here is the question about the TMAP sensor.

I was told changing it and remapping (SEPT) has fixed the oil misting problem on some bike with similar problems. Bike at shop for tires right now so I can't give any part numbers but it is whatever came on it new. Any thoughts on the sesnor swap as a fix? I really don't even know what the tmap does, any help appreciated
Thanks

have an S&S aircleaner and was having the same issues. Solved the problem with a paper towel folded up into an 1"X2" stuck at bottom of a/c betweem filter and cover from back. Replace it on a month with a new piece, works great.
