Cams

Newbee here, have an 05 UC and a Stage One. If I want to add just cams, which ones will be the best bang for the buck and what can I expect in power in low to mid-range torque.

Andrews 26. Hard to say on the numbers; you didn't say if the motor was EFI or carbed. Just speculating but with stock compression, good exhaust and tune, you could see mid 80s TQ around 2300-250 rpms, gradually peaking to 90s' about 4000 rpms and still holding mid 80s to 5000 rpms. Not a barn burner but a good ride.

Check crank runout while in the cam chest; upgrade inner cam bearings and change cam tensioner shoes if necessary or upgrade cam plate.

Look at some of the Tman performance cams. They have some pretty good grinds that are quiet (not much valve noise).

Yeah, I know, I put a plug in for Tman. But I can't help it! This cam that I have is plain outright awesome (IMHO)!

Oh yeah! I'll plug my Cyclerama 575's. Amazing power and quiet too.

Asking what cam is best is like asking which supermodel should you bang. There's plenty of great ones to choose from
