Moving too slow
Yesterday, I went to my local Harley shop to talk to them about buying a 2012 Ultra Classic Limited. It was one of the Tequila Sunrise/HD Orange painted bikes. I think it looks good. But as I was talking to one of the salesmen about the bike another salesman came up and put a sold sign on it right in front of me. Guess it was just not meant to be. I must have been moving too slow.

Right on !....you just might get your bike and the color you want for a better price pretty soon. They aren't much interested in the color they sell...only in the colors they order.

dealers trade bikes all the time. just tell him you want that color.put the pressure on them and tell them you will take it if they can have it there next week or deals off.bet they find one real fast.

My father always told me that "if you want something so bad you can taste it, walk away from it. If you feel the same way tomorrow..go for it". So if you still feel that way, I am sure they can find you one. Just don't display any anxious behavior during the negotiation process. Always be prepared and willing to walk. Motorcycles are made every day.
