Lot of money but worth it. I don't run it except touring. Matching vivid black new for my RK. I like to camp so needed max space. Real dollars add up if you put on lights and rack.

Different I guess.
Actually they probably throw more air at the motor than do the vented OEM's.
They glove box would be nice, but I don't even think it's big enough to put a gun into, maybe a pair of gloves...

Here's a pic or 2;

When I opted for the detachable King Tour Pak I was only looking to use it when riding 2 up. I find I run with it on 90% of the time. It holds a ton of gear. I have no regrets in paying the extra $$$ to have it painted to match my king and in having the locks keyed to match ignition and saddlebag locks. I saved so $$$ by instlling the detach kit myself and assembling the Tour Pak myself. Was not difficult at all.

I will never get rid of my Tourpack even though it is not currently on the bike.

Put a tourpac on my 08 Electra Glide Standard. Then put the deluxe tourpac rack for it.
And then got a Tbag Horseshoe bag. Loaded it down and rode with a Buddy and his wife to ARkansas
This was on my 25th anniversary last year.

Given my unique paint color finding a tour pack on E-bay that matches doesn't seem to be an option. While I no doubt would save $$ going the Kuryakyn route I do have the money to get the tour pack. Thoughts???

It's worth it. Take a look at LED wrap around lights and (if you have a radio) rear speakers. Don't forget the liner, lid organizer, and retractable tether.

The queen loves it, I take it off when riding solo; except for long trips when the extra room is sure handy. Love the quick release brkt.
