I upgraded my headlight to an E-code lens a few months ago and am thinking about getting a HID setup. Should I reinstall the original headlamp lens with the HID or can I use the E-code lens with the HID?? Will the more focused E-code lens burn the paint off of the car in front of me?? Thanks
I can't help you on the HID thing , but if you run an Osram 70/65 Bilux H4 bulb , you'll be impressed.
I got mine from http://www.danielsternlighting.com/home.html
He acually recommended this combo with the Cibie 7" e-code housing and it worked very well.
The Osram bulb is 70 watt low beam and 65 watt high beam.
The part number of the bulb is 64205 if you can't reach him.
This combo gave me a better low beam than my Truck-lite LED does now.
It was an impressive combination.
