Default Serious issue with bike... need help

I bought a used 2002 RK Classic 2 weeks ago. When i got the bike the cruise control did not work, and I figured it was the throttle/idle cables. I switched out my handlebars for Wild 1's 10" and got new throttle and idle cables. Buttoned everything back up and the taillight was on, but no brake light when pressing either the front or rear brake. Figured the brake light switch got damaged during the handlebar swap so I picked up a new one and installed it. Still no brake light, no cruise light, no turn signals, and my horn does not work either. Bike starts, the running lights work, along with low and high beam headlight, but again... no cruise, brake light, or horn.

Help please!

I have rechecked the wiring per the service manual and everything is plugged in correctly. I also checked the fuses and everything looks good.

Would it be possible to uninstall the cruise to see if the brake lights and horn work? I thinking may your cruise is bad?

trace the wiring back from the horn to the switch...same with the other loads.

trace the voltage with a test light from the battery TO the loads, through the fuses through the switches through the connectors etc.

gonna have to be slow and methodical.

Maybe you pinched the wires when you put the switch housing back on the bars? Seem to recall reading about this happening.

I feel like an idiot, but as it turns out the accessory fuse was blown. I don't have anything connected to the accessory switch, but apparently it blew and disabled the horn, cruise, brake light, and turn signals. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions and helping to narrow down the problem. Glad it was a simple fix. Took the bike out, running great and cruise is working.

Yea,just like in a car, I believe Harleys have the cruise & taillight wired on the same circuit. I have cruise on my bike, but will never use it, as I believe certain things don't belong on a bike like cruise, stereos,GPS,etc. Now they got a fairing that mounts your laptop, fer Chrissakes. What is the Harley world coming to? Certainly no righteousness left anymore.
