just installed my 6"flip up windshield and hawg wings.just ordered them wends. and they made it to all the way to maine for today. both lined up perfectly and look sweet. i was worried my harley dash pouch set wouldn't work but it looks fine.wish it wasn't raining or id see how they work. two thumbs up to LRS for a nice product and lightning fast shipping
Love my LRS. Funny thing is the reason I decided to try LRS was because my 3 windshield pouch would work. I have yet to find a windshield that works as well.
I purchased a Long Ride Shield for my RoadKing and installed it. About a month after installation stress cracks appeared at the end of the shield. I contacted LRS and told them that I may have over torqued the screws but I was very cautious in the install of the shield. They ask me if i had used locktight on the screws and the answer was yes i had used the blue locktight . He told me that the locktight had caused the cracks. Well the problem was my fault. They offered to send me a new shield at no cost. What a great company to do business with !! My screw up and they stand good for it .You can't top that.

Mine is the new HD 3 magnetic pouch.
What was the height of the windshield that worked with the new magnetic HD 3 pouch, and was it their regular "ultra" style?

I don't think the loctite had anything to do with it. I installed a LRS on my FLHR and it cracked also. I contacted them and they replaced it which is great, but the second one cracked as well in a different spot.
I did not use loctite on either one. I think it might be an issue with the materials as the LRS seems to be stiffer then the Harley one. I am just going to live with the cracked one for now.
A word of advice to anyone installing one on an FLHR, don't over tighten the screws!
hope LRS have a 16/18" recurve for the rgu's soon !!!
They made me a special made a Phantom 12" for my glide a few weeks ago. Well made shield and fantastic price. It measured a true 12" above the tach/speedo cluster and had a recurve. I'm 6'3" and it worked well almost not wind in the face a little at the top of head.
I sold it as I like the look of the Cee Bailey TRSSC shield better
