Default Screwed up again

Just got the HD helmet lock for my bike this weekend. But nobody told me it had one way screws. Needless to say I need to get them out as my alignment was way off in placing the lock where I wanted it. How do I get the screws out now?

Dremel with a cutting wheel.
Carefully cut the heads off.
Might help to tape around the bolt head to prevent scratching.
You'll have to buy new bolts but that shouldn't cost much.

or... the "security screws" are removed with a bit that looks like a bow-tie.

harbor freight or any place that sells sets of cheap chinese 1/4 drive bits will have them.

No - No - No ... don't cut off the screw heads. Use small Vise Grips on them. I have Vise Grips that are 5 1/2" long, end to end, and they worked great when transferring the locks to my new bike. During the transfer I also placed the locks in the wrong position so had to back out the screws and reposition the locks (slow learning curve). Good Luck.

If you have a grinder, you can take a screw driver and grind it
to the shape of the security screw head.
