I need HELP! I have an '88 FLHTC and noticed the bracket for top hard bag broke at the welds underneath the bag. The ear piercing metal to metal squeaking is driving me nuts! I've scoured the internet for a replacement bracket but cannot find one for this year. Will a newer model fit? Or does anyone know where I can find a used one for sell?
I did try the local dealer and they couldn't find one. My last option was going to re-weld it but wanted to replace it completely if going through the trouble. Thanks for the reply's
arc welding anything on a bike can fry the ignition module.
