How do I get to the nuts on top of my forks. I need to take the cow bells off.
My front fairing is off.
I do not want to take the radio out as I just installed an amp.

Default Fork Bolts

I kept the pinch bolts tight and then used an adjustable wrench to loosen them. I worked the top bolts loose between the tank and fairing

You need to remove the ignition cover and then you have open access to the top of your forks.

Got a service manual? You need to turn the forks all the way to the left and then turn the ign switch to the fork lock position with key in the switch. With a flat blade screwdriver locate the release button underneath the switch and press up and turn the switch another 60* ccw. Lift and remove switch. Watch out for a spring when lifting the switch. You may then have to insert a flat blade screw driver into the ignition in order to unlock the forks. Remove the nut from the post to remove the cover. There are 2 T27 Torx screws on either side of the inner fairing to remove the fairing cap. There is also a plug that you have to disconnect to fully remove the cap.
