Default Exhaust Head Pipe

Can someone with a parts list(tried dealer, no response)identify this part number(65054-00), and tell me if it will fit a 2005 Ultra.

Most usually the key to HD part numbers is the last 2 digits, which signify the year. They usually fit other years AFTER this. Will it fit an 05? Hell if I know.

Did you try the HD website? They usually tell what models each part number will fit.

I see an ad on ebay with that part number, that is not a touring model header.
Dyna, softail or sporty...

it'll fit--- maybe but you'd have to fab some mounts and that crossover would be a problem--- and the rear pipe ( top) would go right through where your saddlebag is.

2005 uses:

Front: 65621-99A
rear: 65626-98A ( "y" pipe)

( most evo and early TC exhaust parts can interchange)

for more fun, parts book here:

Thanks Mike, but I am looking for a true dual sit up. Don't see no Y pipe, have that now. But thanks for the numbers.

Default Rinehart End Cap Scratches

Hello,

I was so excited and happy w/ the looks and sound of Rinehart Slip-ons on my bike. But only after a day after installation, I happened to back up too close to the curb and scratched one of the end cap... I was so upset and thought to fix it w/ touch up paint. Well, I was too lazy to go to a local auto zone, and used a SHARPIE and it worked great! So any of you w/ the scratch on your black end caps w/ scratches, try it!

Hope this helps.
