the 500 will be fine; the sns 510 is a very old design and most of the other cams need more compression

It seems that most on here either like Woods or SE's.
I went with the Feuling cams as I don't like to follow the herd all the time.
They do not quit pulling.
Very linear cam..
They are very strong throughout the powerband
You might consider them too.

Here is an update on the HQ-500 install.

After some searching I found a local guy that runs a Mustang Dyno, is into metric drag bikes and familiar with the PCV. I opted to do a base line run and will go back there for a final tune.
Finished the cam install over the weekend, hooked up the laptop and fired the bike up. Started right away, idle seemed to jump around a bit and then smoothed out, shut bike down and used the tw37 map that FM send me. Went for a test ride. Bike pulls well, no decel pop but can tell that tune is not spot on, seems to run rich at higher throttle. Keith from FM send me a map for the 204 so I will give that a try today.
