I have had the Kury one's on my Ultra for about a year. Absolutely no interference with saddlebag gaurds. My wife likes them and if she wants to stretch her legs out she dose so by extending her calves over the peg while I have my feet on my highway pegs, they also fold away nicely. If they are mounted properly and are for the right year model, there should not be any conflict. They are the only Kury product I have, but I like them. I hope you have better luck with the new ones.

Also when the adjustable peg is in position, passenger still has the option to move their foot down to the floorboard. This creates 3 positions without adjusting anything 1) foot on the adjustable peg 2) calf stretched out over peg and 3) moving foot down to the floorboard.

You can see them in my sig pic folded away behind my passenger floorboard.

I wasn't familiar with the Kury pegs but am looking to get rid of the passenger floorboard when she's not on the back as I do mostly solo riding. Gotta admit the pegs do look like they would give great passenger comfort though.
Rivco's will be in tomorrow (Thur) but raining until the weekend . Still I will post a revue after the install.

Thursday and I've installed the Rivco floorboard kits. I'm happy with the outcome as they have changed the mounting a little so that it doesn't have the " allen key" type adjustment pins. It is a much cleaner look and I will try to post some pics but haven't done so before and question if I will be able to.
The boards store out of the way of my legs as I was hoping they would and as an added benefit it is much easier to clean the trans , starter and to check oils.

Maybe if we could see a picture of your wife's long legs we could suggest alternatives.
