Anybody out there had any problems with the Vance & Hines throttle pack ? I had one installed along with a PC-V,a Roland Sands high flow AC and then the Dyno by Chris Waddell of Cycle Solutions at Americade in June this year. My 2010 SG was loving the upgrades until something fried the Induction Module......a restricted part from Harley ( still don't know what that means ), anyway, waited a month and a half for said part and went on my way. No problems until about another 2K miles and bingo....same problems with the Induction Module. Dealer says it is the throttle pack sending conflicting signals to the PC-V and causing the throttle plate in the Induction Module to flutter uncontrolibly and very loud ! Funny though...still makes the noise with the throttle pack disconnected. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated as the dealer is now questioning thier warrenty obligations.

No problem with mine with about 1200+ mile on it. Just installed the Rev Performance EMS and between that and the Pak, there is no lag at all. The Pak worked well with the V&H Fuel pak also. See what Fuel Moto has to say about it.

This is good advice. Fuel MOTO seems to try out everything they sell themselves so I trust their advice. Pm him and see what he has to say

Seemed to happen both times around 1800-2000 miles, ( coincidence ? ), maybe....thanks for the advice guys....I will inquire with Fuel Moto as well as V&H's .
I have had the V&H Throttlepack on my '09 RoadKing for 6K miles now without a single incident and couldn't imagine going back to the laggy, unresponsive fly by wire I had before ... I also have a PCV as well...... I found that the TP took all the flutter OUT of the butterfly that was very evident before I installed the TP... my bet is that your issue has absolutely nothing to do with the Throttlepack....

I find this thread interesting. In fact, I've spent the last two weeks researching HDF to see if anyone else mentioned the fluttery fbw that I am experiencing and was happy to see this updated thread today. I thought I had a pretty steady throttle hand, to the point at which my GF falls asleep on the back on x-country rides, but with this new 2012 I have, I feel like a Parkinson's patient. Every minor defect in the road where the bike hits a blip and my and moves ever so slightly, the TBW system senses it and I get this lurching effect from my hand moving and then recovering and the system keeps compensating for it so it is a vicious cycle. Just to make sure I wasn't losing my mind, I rode my other touring bike in the garage which is old school with a throttle cable and re-gained my confidence that I wasn't losing my mind and getting happy hands. Is there any way other than this V&H Throttlepak to put some resistance or tension under the throttle grip to make it less sensitive? Is Throttlepak the only answer? Had anyone else shared this same experience?
