Default RE: Roadking Weight Question

within 3 years I went from a Yamaha Vstar 650 to an 1100 to a VTX 1800 (weigh heavier than a 1300) then to a RK custom. I can tell you that for me the RK is like going back to the yamahas as far as nimbleness goes. The VTX 1800 must be finessed... topns of power (the 1300 and 1800 and miles apart in power) and my RK almost seems tossable to me. You should have no problem. In fact I sat on a 1300 and found it too light and I fel UNCOMFORTABLE and not as planted as on the King. Forget the weight, a RK is a classic and you will have no problem at all.

Default RE: Roadking Weight Question

I had a XL120C that was my first bike ever for 10 months and went to a RKC, took about 2 weeks to adjust to the riding changes with the los speed being within hours. I was amazed at how well balanced the RKC was versus the lighter Sporty. Most of then adjustment was mental with the perception inmy head that a heavier bike should be harder to handle.
