Default Thundermax question

Does the Thundermax require you to position the 2010 oxygen sensor bungs closer to the head like on a 2009 or can they stay in the same position more hidden down closer to the tranny? Thanks

I just had one installed on my 2011 ultra and they did have to move them. i also had the VH power duals head pipe installed. The head pipe is for an 09 do to the fact that it moves the bungs up next to the head. From what i understand they have to be there due to the fact that they TMax uses wide band sensors.

The Tmax 02s are 18mm compaired to the smaller Harley 12mm 02s.
I had to install new 18mm bungs closer to the heads on mine.

I'd like to try a Thundermax when I change my exhaust again this winter, but I don't like the looks of the .02's right out in front up by the heads like that! They just seem to catch my eye.
