FYI - Loose Swingarm Bracket Bolt

I was cleaning up my Ultra yesterday and felt something loose below the frame. Discovered the lower bolt on my swingarm bracket (left side) had backed out about 3/8 of an inch. Torqued it down (34-42 ft lbs) per the manual. Puzzling, as I’ve never had the swingarm off or apart. Put 80 miles on it today with no problems. Just giving you guys one more thing to check for when inspecting your bikes next time.

it has happened to mine too, I pulled them out one at a time, and put thread locker on it.

My wife and I were on a 2 week trip last year and the bike seemed to change its sound as the holiday progressed. Only when we got home did I realise that my lower right screw had backed out and eaten a hole in the exhaust pipe! Screw looks fine and is now loctited in, along with its three chums.....
