+1 on the clutch adj. Switch to a "Quality" Full synthetic gear lube(Amsoil, Redline,etc..Not H-D Stn) and you'll be happy. A good Syn 20/50 will help your concerns with oil pressure, shot of putting a good oil pump in. Have fun with the new ride.
Congrates in the new bike!!! I love the look of the Street Glide. I was at a dealership last week and one was just inside of the front door. I like the design of the rear fender. The LED lights at the bottom. The dual antennas, one on each side of the rear fender. At least this one had them. Very nice model.
When I picked up my RKC in June the ride home was a killer. It was my first bike in 24 years so I was clueless of many things. The gas guage was sloppy and I was told that they all were. I didn't think to check a gauge on another bike. I just took their word for it. A couple of weeks later, during a wash, it just popped out into my hand. I put it back and it is tight as one would expect. The ride home was a killer! It turned out that the dealer had filled the shocks to the max. 60 psi. As we all do, I have since done some adjustments to handlebar height and other items.
I have read of people getting their bikes home and, just to be able to fuss with it, they checked their oil levels and found the tranny or engine empty.
I would suggest that you plan on taking some time before you take delivery, whether that is before you sign your life away or after - you decide, but take time to work your way through the bike. Have a rag in your pocket and check the oil levels. Have them supply a gauge and check the tire and shock air. I like about 12 psi in the shocks when I am riding solo. Have them adjust the air to your liking. Know that the shocks do seem to smooth out after some miles are on them. Check the gas gauge and see if it is loose. That the fork lock trim is secure (Mine popped of into my hand one day). That the fairing is secure. Just make sure you are happy with it before you take delivery. If they have to hang onto it another few days let them.
OH!!!! And get a full tank of gas! Can you believe it???? My dealership delivers the new bikes with only a half a tank of gas. I told them that when someone pays over 20 grand for a motorcycle it should come with a full tank of gas.

I have 2011 SG 103 and after 200 miles my oil pressure went to zero at idle. I knew it wasn't true because the motor sounded fine. If the pressure was at zero the lifters and everthing else would clatter like crazy. I went to the dealer and the pressure sending unit was bad. Now the pressure is 39 at speed and 12 at idle. Here in the cool northwest temps.
(I'm trying to attach a pic of the new bike)
Things went well at the dealership. Everything checked out. They adjusted the clutch and the heel-toe shifter and the bike runs great! 10 psi in the air shocks. I had them put on the detachable backrest for the wife. We put 40 miles on it this afternoon. I'm going to miss my Fat Bob, but I have a feeling the Street Glide will make me forget it pretty quickly!
