Do ya think????
Personally, I don't care for an auto truck. The 13 speed crash box in the Pete seems to do just fine.

I learned on a 13 speed. Never drove a auto in a truck. Been doing 10 speeds for the last 13 years. And I don't think I ever said...but I blip!

I downshift without the clutch. It just slides in with no effort. No no blip for me

+1 I'm a blipper. Guess it comes from learning to drive a commercial truck.

Now this is a good way to cause unneeded damage to the drive train and the pressed fit crank shaft on a bike.
Its your bike so I don't careless actually, but I sure hope that others, out there, don't feel this is an OK pratice.

I wouldn't do it on the newer two piece cranks......they seem to go out of round pretty easy...there are a lot of dealer pull cranks on ebay for cheap to give you an idea how many cranks are being pulled.

Blipped for years. Depending on the car I had, I used the heal/toe blipping technique when I was able.

I blip, putting less of a shock on the drivetrain is a bonus side effect of bliping... I blip so that the extra noise makes people look at how cool I am when I'm posing it up, you REALLY need to blip the throttle when your stopped at an intersection, then you get double poser-points! LOL!
Seriously though, I do blip the throttle while downshifting, a well executed blip makes the downshift seamless. I did it when I drove truck for a few years, and I do it now because that big ol' torquey Harley-Davidson engine will make for a rough decel if you let that clutch out blip-less
my
worth...
