I'd like to post another question. Not sure if this is the right thread? When I asked my dealer to comment on wheather or not to do exaust mods on the 103 set up in the ultra limited - his response was suprising.
he said that after exstensive testing on the 103 before and after stage one they found the dyno test resultss to favor a stock set-up. He actualy discourages new owners to do any mods unless they want diff sound - he says heat is no longer an issue??
I'm hoping my bike has no heat issues because i'd rather leave it stock and spend my money on other acc.
What do you think?
The Bike will run fine with the Catalyst converter in it. I just don't like EPA stuff.
The catalyst converter is in the header pipe.
I got a fuel moto header pipe from Jamie with fuel moto.
And starting in 2013 they are going to really tighten up changing mufflers and stuff from what I hear.
Ride it stock and if you make changed go get a download from the dealer. Its much cheaper.
But you are getting a new bike. Just ride it and give it time to break in. You need 5000 miles on it to break it in.
If I was gonna change the mufflers out I'd look at the nightstick.
you can add or substract disk for performance or sound.
They are made by supertrapp.
Keep your stock mufflers oh.
Garmin sells a Ram mount to go on your handle bars to mount the GPS on. I like that much better than mounting it to the inner fairing.
Its your choice and call.
Got to Garmin.com and look at the Zumo 600 and see what comes with it.
Then pick up the phone and call them and ask about the handle bar ram mount.
I don't know if it comes with it.
The garmin/zumo 660 is what would fit me. $ amt is the same weather you buy from dealer or amazon 649.00. However dealer is giving me 20% off any acc at time of purchase and if its harley the 2yr warrenty goes with it. I havnt seen how it looks mounted to fairing - but I would think it would be a better spot to mount - just havnt seen that mount yet. i had an 08 ultra with a handle bar mount zumo 550 - not crazy bout things being mounted on hb. I think the harley interface for gps requires it to be mounted in the fairing??
Rode with it for 50,000 on my 08 EG, then last January got a 2011 Ultra Limited. Mounted it right back on the handle bar where I wanted it.
It came with this mount and I really like it there. Its not in my way. And I got a habit of puttin my Shoei Helmet over the top of it too.
I would want a 5 yrs warranty and ask the dealer for a discount on the warranty after he gives you a price
If they dealer mounts it before you pick it up see if its covered under the warranty.
If you notise my grips. I have Grab ON grips that slip on over the heated grips. It makes the grips larger for summer time use.
I take the grab on's off in the winter. Love the heated grips

Harley makes a Headlight Kit you might want to look at. Its kit #67700032
Its Plug and Play, its the dual bulb that is in the SE Ultra bike.
I then went to xenon bargains and ordered a 35w 6000 K two H9 bulbs Hid kit for the motorcycle.
Its Plug and play. Don't get the one for the car. you need to run more wires.
Email xenon bargains and talk to him telling him what you have.
This Video ain't good but it will show some of the stuff.
