First off go to Harley website it has a compare bikes feature. You can compare 3 bikes at once. I rode a road king then went to a 08 ultra now on a 12 limited. WOULD NOT go back to a road king because I put about 40000 in 3 years or so. Thought about adding a detach full size tour pack to my road king, with all that said I would have more invested in the road king than the limited. The radio and cd intercom is great when out on the road for hours at a time. Buy the limited and can take off and add more then on the road king. Don't get take this wrong I loved the King but traveling without the trunk got to be a pain when stopping and locking up your jacket, etc. Take your time you seem to not be sure of anything color, bike etc. Lot of money not to be happy with purchase.

Ain't got to convience me.
No way would I leave home without my Tourpack. And for the winter there's nothin like the hard lowers.
Give me a fairing over a windshield too. Not to mention chrome wheels with the Flhtk
