Where's your HARMON KARDON radio? Touring bike radio with a clock. That's what's being discussed here.

The discussion IS on topic.

My Harley is the most inaccurate timepiece I've ever owned! Fortunately, it has a couple other features that make it worth keeping.

Same with mine. Luckily while sitting a light in the turn lane I was able to adjust it without even bothering to check the owners manual at home. Pretty easy.

I think the greater issue here is why is it happening. My '11 Road Glide is way off. I've reset it twice. Now, why bother. To keep the time program running in the Harmon K head unit requires nothing more than what it would take to run a cheap wrist watch - so the voltage drop, though a good idea, doesn't hold water, or maybe better said, it shouldn't hold water. I'm thinking if the drop were such that it gets in to the time program, the bike shouldn't start at all. This points me to a conclusion - however simplistic and minor, there's something wrong with these HK radios if they can't keep correct time. There's been enough of us to show it's a common problem. I'm not impressed or confident in a design that can't keep time.
