I gotta say, Howard seems to be OBSESSED with making people happy. I don't think I've ever seen or heard of anyone that provides better customer service. I think it's bordering on a sickness for him, lol. And no, I don't know him nor have I ever met him.
All I do know is over the winter I look forward to ditching my Progressive 940's and ordering a set of Ohlins from Howard- like I should have done in the first place.
I ordered mine last night. I was wondering how much more did you'll allow for extra gear. I added 15 lbs per person do you think that's too much?
Only you know the answer to that. ie: when I ride solo I have about 15-20lbs in my bags (mostly tools), when I'm 2 up and touring I add her wieght plus about 50lbs more gear for a weeks ride. Just add up what you really carry, if my wife only brought 15lbs more gear (for long trips) I would be in shock! (no pun intended haha)
