Default 95'' or 103''

how many of you guys have went from a 95 to a 103 and if so was it worth it ?

As for a tune Im thinking of changing from a SERT to a power vision.

FYI I do my own wrenching so no labor cost.

I had a TC88 that I bored to a TC95....then added TW9G woods cams, 10.5/ 1 pistons, Daytona Twin Tech ignition, ported heads by Westcott, yada, yada....111hp/113tq ran real strong. Sold it and bought a new 08 SG with a TC96....ummm not even a comparison, this TC96 sucks. As for the 103... I wouldn't do it with a TC88, cost of the crank would be one. Two, no need to split the cases...add a set of heads to your TC95 and enjoy the ride.

I took my 88 to 103 on the Night Train. There isn't a 95 that can keep up with it. My crank's runout was excessive to use with gear drive, so it was a no-brainer to go to 103 (though in hindsight I should have gone 117).

The longer stroke of the 103 makes no noticeable difference in how quickly the motor revs.

my flywheel spun so i went with the hd stroker crank. had it balanced, welded and H beam rods. Im keeping everything else thats on my sig. so the 103 will have the same heads and cams. i went with forged flat tops but am gonne use a 0.030 gasket.. i hope the cash is worth it
