Think I've decided on my system... anyone out there with Bubs??
Which did you go with? 1-3/4" or 2"??? 3-1/2"mufflers or 4"??
This is for a 2012 SG with 103.
Any feedback welcome....
I went with the jug huggers on my sb. Bub makes high quality stuff. Sound and look amazing, and they just have a high quality feel to em when installing.
I had the Bub 7 true duals on my SG. When the pipes arrived new, the chrome was peeling off front head pipe. Called Bub and they said it really did not matter and reluctantly exchanged them, at my expense.
As far as fitment goes, the front pipe fit good, but the rear pipe was a pain in the butt to get right.
Appearance was good, until the chrome on the end caps started peeling off.
Performance would most likely be good on a stock 96. On my 103 with cam & head work they held it back big time.
A buddy of mine had the 2 into 1 system on his Dyna, the head pipe cracked.
from reading what I've found in search there are complaints on BUB's as well as RineHart... But these post are a couple years old..
Any recent purchases??
RineHart now has 18 month warranty, but is it going to be everything is your fault and they dont want to know..

Bub and RH pipes are made by the same company..........
Well my understanding is that clear view is making both products. I have a friend a fellow forum member who had issues with a set of Bub TD's, and on my old 2010 RKC my RH slip ons were turning a brownish/gold color on the right muffler, had (2) other local buddies with RH slip ons that had the same issue on their SG's. No RH for me.
My preference goes to Fuel Moto (Jackpot) and Rush exhaust products for quality and customer service. Of we course we all develop biased opinions based on what we have dealt with first hand, thus this is mine.
Good luck in your hunt. Exhaust, Handlebars, and Seats are very opinionated subjects, and also the most difficult (usually) to find what works for "YOU".
I am running the black TD bub system. The one issue i have had is that the clutch side pipe is too close to the access panel. If I were to do it again, i would go with the TDX that cross under the frame.
I am very happy with the sound and performnace. Not everyone likes these pipes they are loud.
