Hey guys. Starting my teardown on my '09 drop seat RG to do a 26. Got the HHI builders kit, HHI lower legs, RC wheel, 13" rotor, 6 piston and Camtech's stretched body kit. Haven't bought my fender yet but will probably go with a BCool. Until I get my tire, I would like to get a couple of measurements from you guys. Need a measurement from center of axle to outside of tire (radius) and a measurement from center of axle to the top of your fender. This will help with some of my planning between wrenching. Thanks for your help.
Thanks for you help. I have imported a digital side shot of my bike into AutoCAD engineering software and have stretched and raked it to scale. I guessed at the tire size and we are within an 1/8". This lets me view and modify my build prior to cutting & welding. I have built a few choppers this way with extreme leg & backbone stretch, radical rake and always got the trail correct. Kinda like measure twice, cut it once - only more accurate. Thanks again and I'll give Paul a call.
