Default Turn Signal Module (TSM)

Had to replace my TSM #69461-06C. After the new TSM install my back turn lights come on when I turn the ignition switch to Accessories. My Dealer claims to have called Harley Tech and claims this is not a fault. They took my TSM off and replaced it with a new one off the shelf - same MO. They took a TSM off another bike in the service bay and it didn't cause my signals o come on - put my 'new' TSM on the other bike and it's lights come on. What do U guys experience? The only reason I ever turn on ACC. is to listen to CD's while I'm messing in the garage on my bike.

Buy a cheap CD player for the garage.

Sorry. Couldn't help it.

Mine does the same thing and has since it was new. It is a 2008 Ultra Classic. Back in the 70's when I was riding Honda's when you switch the key to all the way to the right the tail light came on, it was for parking the bike on the side of the road when you had a breakdown.

My 2012 does it when it's on Acc, and listening to Music in the Garage.

Mine doesn't do it either, I actually have two, neither one does it. Only thing I can say is it must be a revision or they have started using a different parts supplier.

Just contacted Harley direct today and they said that with TSM #69461-06C the tail lights are supposed to come on when the ignition switch is in the ACC position. Kinda goofy though, the 2012 Harleys on the dealer's floor don't come on........Oh well !!!
