I have installed LED's on all the lights. My bike is easy to see now and at night. No need for that bright headlight.

Bright lights because I'm on a Road Glide, on my softail I always had spots on. Every little bit helps!

I guess I may have a different take of visibility. I think there so many cagers that say, "I just didn't see them." Unfortunately it more like they aren’t paying enough attention and or was distracted. I have always prided myself for paying a lot of attention to detail and have never had a problem seeing other vehicles whether it is a truck, car, tank, 747 or even a pedestrian. I have yet to hear anyone say they could see a particular bike better because they had brighter lights on their motorcycle. I would venture to say there probably are several riders that have gotten hit that had brighter or more lights on their scoot.

Maybe we should ask this question. How many riders feel safer because you have brighter and or more lights? I don't think I would feel safer.

Of course this is only my .02 cents worth.

A or B?

C) Get a set of Motolights and triangulate your profile. Check out Motolights.com and watch the video. I have had them on the last 3 bikes I've owned and they make a difference in whether you are seen by cagers! Just my worth.

Default Lights

You can have every light they sell but its all up to you as a two wheeler to bring your sight and brain to a level where you realize a 700lb two wheeler against a 5000+ cage will kill you. Never expect respect from cages and loud pipes help cages see you. John

Pre 2014 there is a simple jumper harness that allows spots to run with high beams.
2014 a simple BCM flash (mine was free) allows it.

Unless you bypass it, then you can have both the spots and high bean on.
I did it and can't get why they don't just come that way.
