We have been getting a lot of request for engine guard chaps..So can you guys help me out as far as what works and what does not.. Pictures are a big plus..
While I don't have any pics, I do have 2 suggestions Capt. Itch.
Everybody has different highway placements needs, all of the chaps I've seen only give a single cut out for the pegs, I'd recomend some way of being able to attatch the chaps that gives us multiple options for where to place the pegs on the crash bars.
Storage, if the chaps are going to be on , it's 'cause its cold or raining and the need for extra gear is there, making decent side storage on the inside of the chaps is something that would always be welocmed and used.
A friend has some that are held on by a couple of straps that go across the bike and hook to each other, with adjustment to pull them tight. I like this a lot better than the usual velcro.
CAPT, I agree: Cutout for HWY pegs are a plus. I like the HD design how the straps wrap around the frame and attach back onto itself with quick plastic connectors that are adjustable by velcro. Going across and attaching to the opposite side would require more material and if not designed properly would limit airflow.
I would sport em with a cool CPT Itch logo on them as well. Maybe you could offer with or without a logo.
