Default Help with planning winter mods

Ok, I wanted to see if you can help me not forget something important or that could save me some money and headache down the road.

Here is my plan right now:

14" PYO Monkey bars
Chrome controls and switch housings
Heat Demon heated grips (yes, I plan to hone the bars if needed for clearance)
New grips (not sure on style just yet)
Painting my inner fairing
New HD Titanium gauges, replacing "air" with oil temp
Changing the passing light bar and assembly to CVO style
Trike Trees and chrome skirt
Chrome fork lowers
Chrome brake calipers
Braided stainless lines
Undress front fender from Ultra style and Repaint
Add Yaffe stretched gas tank
Switch radio and gauge lighting to blue.

Hmm... That may be it for the moment.

Thoughts?

think about fat boy or H-D street stalker front fender

inner fairing?

I live where it gets sunny ( you do too)- you sure you want something shiny in your face when you are riding?

Mike - Thanks for the input. I have considered a different fender but I am planning to do custom wheels when money allows and I think that I will do the fender then. I think that the plain SG style fender will be ok for now.

As for the painted inner fairing, I have never ridden with one, but like how they look on bikes so I guess I will take a chance? I havent heard any complaints from people with one though...

@pit1600 - CVO rear bar - Do you mean the taillight and turn signal bar? I picked up a SG version now just to get rid of the ugly Ultra bar.

I totally agree wheels are a must, but I only have so much $ to spend and am about tapped out. I was trying to do everything I needed to do when I pull the inner fairing off so I don't have to redo that several times. That is kind of what I was thinking, if there is something in the front I am leaving out, now would be the time to do it.

Ultimately, I do want a new rear setup with stretched fender and bags, etc. Maybe do an air suspension, LED lighting on my tour pack, etc. I just cant all at once so I am starting in the front.

That sounds like a lot of money....................lol

You will have no problem with painting your inner fairing.
You won't believe how much you will like this. Especially when your buddy pulls up beside you and you glance over and see his dull inner.

Heat Demon heated grips (yes, I plan to hone the bars if needed for clearance)
New grips (not sure on style just yet)
Painting my inner fairing--be sure the painter also does the bezel around the turn signal indicators/idiot lights--HD's painted inners don't!
New HD Titanium gauges, replacing "air" with oil temp--move voltmeter below gas gauge and install oil temp gauge below oil pressure gauge.
Changing the passing light bar and assembly to CVO style
Trike Trees and chrome skirt
Chrome fork lowers--decide on axle holder/cover; I used HD's clamshell kit and prefer it to the blind axles and HD's big covers.
Chrome brake calipers
Braided stainless lines
Undress front fender from Ultra style and Repaint
Add Yaffe stretched gas tank--you'll probably need a new seat; any graphics or tank badges?
Switch radio and gauge lighting to blue.--let Iron Cross Audio do this and add AUX on rear of radio.

Hmm... That may be it for the moment.

Thoughts?
Did you mention what model year bike you have?

Good luck with your projects.
