I don't ever listen to music on the bike. I'm on expressways and freeways mostly riding at 70 mph+ so I always wear earplugs to protect my hearing. Besides, I've always thought that listening to my iPod dulled my senses and reaction times to stuff around me when I'm riding so I don't do it.

I use the stock i phone ones but still get wind noise. I saw these at sams and you get two pairs for $40. I was thinking about buying them thanks for the review.

Those of you that use an I phone get the Adaptunes app. You play your itunes library through it. It raises and lowers the volume based on your speed. Ive been useing it for more than a year and it works.

klaybus; have you looked @ the bar-mount speakers...?? Reason I ask is because over time earbuds + volume can cause problems. Take it from a guy w/tinnitus - constant ringing in the ears sux. Mine started w/loud planes on flightline, but listening to music w/headphones probably contributed to the problem...

I went with bar mounted speakers cuz buds won't stay in my ears. BOOM Audio is audible until about 40-45 without the windshield. With the windshield the sound gets washed out at about 80. YMMV.

I like my Bose ear buds for my iPod, but the SG speakers works fine on the road.

I found something similar to these at Radio shack. It stops the wind noise and don't pull out of the ear as easy.
