Cutting the allen down worked perfect! Thanks for the info guys I would have never thought to do that. Yes I did remove the tank because I have seen many post where it was removed so I figured I'd do the same. First time taking it off so when disconnected the crossover gas hit me from two directions which I wasn't prepared for (now I know)! I still have one small problem. My right turn signals do not work now. When I press the thumb switch I can hear a tick near the battery. I tested the wiring and it's hot. checked the fuses and they are all good. Any ideas? Pics coming soon.

Did you put the wires inside the bars, or outside? I guess it doesn't matter much , what I am getting at , is you probably pinched a wire in the switch housing on that side..

Might be over looking it but I have taken the switch housing's apart several times to check for a pinch but can't seem to find it. Ran the wires thru the bars. Also checked from the connector to the bar clamp and nothing seems screwed up.

If you have a volt meter you could ohm check the wiring from the switch to connector and eliminate that part.

well said..........follow these steps.....
