Default Floorboard-Mounted Highway Pegs?

Guys, I'm looking for a floorboard-mounted highway peg solution, with a setup like these new Kuryakyn Flip Boards (~ $250):

The Kuryakyn Flip Boards incorporate multiple mounting positions (up to 2.5-inches forward/back and .75-inches out - from the stock position) and measure 15.375-inches long and 4.875-inches wide - larger than stock. I would like this solution IF the pegs can be closed with your feet.

I've seen the IMT Jac-Knife setup (~ $150), which requires grinding and drilling the floorboard pans, and the Kuryakyn Flip Blades (~ $155), which requires the pegs to be closed by hand. For the stated reasons, I DO NOT like these solutions.

Are there any independent fabricators out there who have come up with a reasonable, cost-effective solution for floorboard-mounted highway pegs? The only one that I have found is Tipp Cycle Specialties, who offers these, which are NOT retractable, and DO NOT appear to be available for Streamliner floorboards:

Show me your floorboard-mounted highway pegs!

Interesting, but I've already got floorboard extenders from Harleygoodies and with those I'm pretty sure I'd scrape big time?

I use the imt version with kick pins. Minimal grinding on underside of board. Works great just make sure you have them closed in the twisties or they will scrap.

I don't know anyone who uses floor-board mounted highway pegs in the corners. These are meant for the superslab, aren't they?

HarleyGoodies xtenders work good for me. I can't imagine riding with those things sticking out of my footboards.

Yeah, I do like the IMT setup with the Kicker Peg, but I don't have the time/tools to do the necessary grinding.

As I told mkguitar, I don't know anyone who uses a setup like this in the twisties...

Put the IMT Jac-Knife ones on my wifes Heritage, she is quite happy with them. Pretty easy instal, took longer for the first side than the other - once I figured out what I was doing it was a lot easier. Nice little video comes with them for the instal as well, and all of the parts are good quality. $just under $180 plus shipping to the door.

Ya, I have a set from FBI, don't really like them that much, to much of a reach for my short legs making this not a comfortable riding position for me.

Do you ride through the twisties with your feet on your HIGHWAY pegs? I dont know many HIGHWAY's with corners.

Kuryakyn's pegs do fold up if they hit, they also can be folded back in under the board.

I chose this style since I didnt want an ugly crash bar on my bike. And my 4" stretched bags would scrape right about the same time as my Kury flip blades.

If I want to carve corners, I would jump on one of my Dyna's
