HD Parts Orders

Does it always take 2-3 weeks for a dealer to receive warranty parts for a warranty repair from the MOCO?

Hell no! If your bike is totally not running, and you are 50 miles or more away from home, they have an order status of emergency bike down. The parts will be sent from any dealer or distribution center on next day air. Delivered the next morning.

Even had one time on my Sporty, that the ONLY place in US that had the part was at the assembly plant in Kansas City. They took a brand new bike, pulled the clutch hub and shell out of the new bike at the assembly plant, and shipped it overnight to the dealer where I was.
