Sorry to hijack this thread but I can't decide between either the WO577 or the WO576 on my 2010 FLHX. I really like the look of the WO577s but I want to be able to use my stock mirrors, do you have any problems seeing out of your mirrors. I've rode a similar bike like mine that had the WO576s on it and love it but he had the stock seat and I've got the Sundowner seat on mine. I'm 6' 1" and have longer than average arms. Thanks in advance.

I redrilled the holes in the inner fairing to position the mirrors down and out as far as possible and have the base cover the original holes. Doesn't move them a lot but it helps. Mirrors are fine with the stock seat or Sundowner but if I add the rider backrest then my hands take up part of the mirrors as I'm forced to set up straighter with the backrest. Still able to see well enough tho.

13" apes here and are very comfortable. I was able to hold off on changing the seat for a while. The bars alone changed my riding position and helped with any back and shoulder cramps. I later put a Road Glide seat on my bike. I can ride all day and not have any discomfort.

I am the same height but weigh 205 and on my 06 FLHT ive installed some wild one apes 12.5s. Its the best postion for my arms( longest trip 5 hours). Puts my arms level(lepara bare bones) so your stock seat might be different. Good luck finding whats right for you!

My 577s are due this week so next weekend after the toy run she is going under the wrench. Hoping the stock mirrors will still work until I find a bar mounted pair that I like the looks of. I may be the minority but I am not a fan of the fairing mounted mirrors.

Just flip your stock mirrors upside down.

Thanks for getting back with me. I'm so torn on which bars to go with.

What apes do you have? And can you post a pic? I've been also looking at Burly Bagger Bars 13".
