"The foundation of the Draggin Bagger class is the Screamin Eagle SE120R engine, a fully assembled race-use performance engine that
is built by Harley-Davidson. The 120 cubic inch engine produces an awesome 135 horsepower and 137 lb-ft of torque at the rear
wheel. The DB class is reserved for 99-later Touring models equipped with the 120R engine and features rules that limit the modifications
to ensure low entry cost and a high level of competition. For more information and complete class rules, visit ahdra.com."
Ya I have and I actually own one. I am making a statement from logging 20000 miles on my 120r.
A race engine would have in excess of 12:1 not run on pump gas and would not be able to tour the country.

Sounds like the best of all worlds - a touring drag-race engine! It is however designed for life on the rev limiter, which is the point I was making. It won't last long doing that if the crank run-out is not spot on.
Interesting thread I'm doing the 120R hopefully by the end of this week, or for sure by the end of next week!
My local Dealership, Treasure Coast Harley Davidson Stuart, Florida is doing mine. They have done over 30 of them, and tells me they have not had one problem with one! Furthermore, they offer a full one-year warranty through their dealership on the engine; parts & labor!
My S&S 124 will be in this week and should be back on the road the first week of March. I chose the 585 cam as I do not want to get to radical. We will be putting a Primo Rivera Pro Clutch in along with new 58mm throttle body. I chose to use the Pro Tuner as the brain for this thing. Will be prtting Lyndall Gold Pads and thinking of putting new brake rotors. This all will be put on a 2007 Road King running Vance and Hines True Duals. If anyone has done a similar installation would appreciate any advice and also about the HP and Torque I can expect

I doubt that a 120r will make that kind of SAE power! Yes you will spend much more to do a ground up build but if done right it will stone reliable. Now, if I was going to do a 120r I would get the kit and then make changes where necessary for reliability.....crank work, roller rockers and some other items. Of course now the $$ go up. Plus the 4 5/8 stroke on the 120r would not be my choice for relaibility either......just my opinion!
