Default SERT upgrade plus...

Hey all. Long time, no posting. Had to get some things sorted out for myself.

Anyways, I just had the SERT done, picked up 6 HP and 8 lbs torque. Got the dyno sheet to prove it. Changed out the rims to Street Glide rims and did some other nit noids as well. Rides like a new bike. New rotors in the front ( STock HD ) Amazing. Sticks to the road like glue, no flex. AM loving it so far.

Will post pix maybe tomorrow if anyone is interested. Not sure if I remember how.

Ride safe. Peace.

What bike did you do the work to?

Glad you had positive results.

I don't know if the rims have anything to do with the handling, but i know of two people how believe a Streetglide handles better than a king. I couldn't say either way.

03 FLHRCI. Speedo sensor looks like it took a crap. May have to upgrade the clutch the the SE performance clutch. CHeaper than getting a new stock clutch for it. Just adjusted at 20K. Adjusted the month previous as well. Keeps going out of whack and slipping.

Hopefully that should be it for the year or so. Maybe fluids if the oil pressure tells me it needs a flush.

Yeah, the rims are way better. Like riding a brand new scoot. When the nitnoids are done, we'll have to road test it. Maybe cams next year or so, they'll be about due.

Stretchman- It sounds like they did a good job with the tuning. Did you have the dyno done at the dealer? Other then the dyno sheet did they give you a copy of the map? The reason I'm asking is that I just had a Sert installed and dynoed at the dealer. When I asked him for a copy of the map I was told that they can't make me a copy because the system won't let them. This sounds like a lot of BS to me. The way I look at it is that I paid for the tuning and I'm entitled to a copy of the map for my records. Does anyone know what program is used at the dealer to program the ECM at the dealer?
