Decatted my 2011 SG about 2 months ago. Best decision I've made in a while! Runs great, sounds great with stage 1 ac, Rinehart 4" slipons & SERT. No issues in the last 2k miles.
Just a thought, when I decatted mine. I noticed a 2"or more gap between the cat and the end of the pipe inside the cat chamber. It seems to me that there would be cross talk even with the cat in. When the exhaust hit the cat, it has to stall for a short time before going thru the cat. Wouldn't that cause cross talk? At least decatted, there is no hesitation in the exhaust leaveing the chamber. Just my .02 I'm expert by anymeans, just a fellow rider that thinks to much sometimes.
well i guess its my turn,
our 2012 electra glide was to hot to ride around town, period,, I was ready to trade it for the Kawasaki Voyager so as a last resort i gutted the cat by cutting the back side out and welding the plate back in,, i also bought them xcides things,, set them to 75% and all is well in the riding department again,,,now the only heat we are getting is from the sun burning the tops of our legs,, and the bike runs great
well, everything is a theory until it actually happens....as far as cross talk, if I remember correctly the real problem was caused from the o2 sensors being wired in reverse...
