Some of the guys I ride with have complained about the tail lights/ turn signals on my 2011 FLHX. One day it almost ended in a collision when i turned while leading. I like the clean look, but they say it's hard to tell what the lights are doing especially when turning. I've found a regular looking light that fits, a kit that makes the accent light a brake light, and a light that fits the line of the turn signal bar. I'm looking for something that will brighten up the rear, but keep the clean lines. I was thinking of something like the SE RG and SG have, or flush mounted lights that fit the bags. I've spent a good bit of time looking and have not found flush mounted bag lights i like, and am having a hard time finding LED strips I could use in the filler panels. Maybe I just don't know what I'm looking at; but any help would be appreciated.

This is about as good as you're going to get...... for now.
I love the clean look of the bike, but you're right the lighting sucks. I have taken to using hand signals when I lead a group so they don't run into me.

I have the custom dynamics plasma rods, plus I changed the 1157's in the rear to LEDs, and added the Kury (HD makes it now also) light that goes in the middle, no more complaints about my rear lights, and it is bright and very visible.

I just got off the phone with Custom Dynamics. They are working on a plasma rod that is RUN/BRAKE in RED, and AMBER when you hit your turn signals. They said sometime after the first of the year.

I've got the same concerns regarding the taillights on my 10SG, planning to put a CVO fender on it during the off season for the LED taillights and the cleaner look.
