I took my last ride of the year today. Bike goes into winter storage Friday. Winter sucks.
Last Ride? Don't think so. Riding Never Ends. I'm going on a ride in a few minutes. See Ya later! HD's got heated gear, ya know, even though I don't have any.
We're in the 40's here in central PA, turkey's all done and eaten, and I'll be heading out on a ride here in a few. Tomorrow should be even nicer. Just gotta wear a few extra layers, that's all..
I appreciate all the advice on keeping it home for some good days yet to come. However, the house is over one hundred years old and when they added the garage on, back in the forties, they only put in a one car garage. It's not heated and the bike sits at the front just ahead of the wife's car. Winters are pretty bad here so she insists on parking in the garage. Snow melts off the car and salt lays in the water. For the good of the bike, as well as my piece of mind, the bike gets stored in heated storage over the winter. It's the price I must pay to keep it in good shape. Cold doesn't bother me, but rust and chrome pits do. So, winter sucks.
Just got back a while ago from a riding. Man the weather was nice. Tomorrow is going to be nicer, so another tank will be used.
Ride Safe!

That has to suck putting your bike up for the winter. I feel for y'all! I will dedicate a few miles of each ride this winter to all my northern buddies who can't ride!
I was thinking the same thing. I couldn't live where I had to put her away for the winter. Down here in SW FL the weather is just getting good.
I rode my 2011 SG into the shed yesterday afternoon. Now, THAT was a new adventure! The batwing and engine guards sure don't leave much margin for error.
I pulled my battery, too. Easy job. I brought the battery inside and hooked it up to my Yuasa trickle charger.
Might/probably be able to ride tomorrow...supposed to be 60 here...
Wife's B-D so she said that she would like that....
Looks like it probably will happen...
Rides are gettin' fewer and farther between though..no doubt about it...
Last week I was runnin' the snow blower and the snow shovel..
