Just put on the FullSac true duals and a cover insert on the air filter instead of the football. After doing that the bike runs terrific, but once warmed up the idle is about 100 rpm slow (900), which really makes my 103 shake like crazy. Any idea what during that install would make the idle drop?
I had a problem with my '06 Street Glide after installing the Stage I and Vance & Hines True Duals with Oval slip-ons. The problem I had was that the motor would get too hot, too fast and bring the idle down due to the EFI trying to compensate.
To fix the problem, my dealership wound up having to install the 25 degree injectors. Since then I've had no problems. Check with your dealer and find out if your bike has the 8 degree or 25 degree.
On my ultra it does the same thing occasionally, maybe once a month while riding. I,ve gotten use to it. my 02 truck does the same thing once in a while.
