On a 2008 Road Glide (and on most other Touring models I assume), what are these threaded holes for????

Not sure, but I think they're used in the assembly process, hanging from conveyer ?

I saw something where a "frame brace" bolts on there.
Not sure that the frame really needs bracing there, but someone was selling one.

I Googled 'frame brace' for Harley but nothing came up.
